Evidently, this year's Earth Hour is being held on Saturday March 28th. That's the one day a year when we're supposed to, for 60 minutes, turn off all our lights and non-essential electrical appliances; the idea being that it raises awareness about environmentalism and also helps (albeit in a small way) reverse the Global Climate Change trend.
We'd like to participate, but we're not gonna be at home. We'll be driving back from Syracuse after a day spend spewing airplane exhaust across the US, from Phoenix to Syracuse. How environmentally friendly is that?! It's making me rethink our decision not to buy carbon offset credits.
